About “Philip”

這是我的商用Bio, 吹噓味很濃, 不番成中文了:

Philip has led the team of Dream Cortex designers and animators since 1998. At that time he was one of the founding members of Outblaze Ltd., and served as senior in-house Outblaze web designer. When Outblaze spun off its design unit later that year, Philip was chosen to spearhead the transition from a web design shop to the full service digital multimedia studio renamed Dream Cortex. Since 1998 Philip has brought to life client aspirations by managing the design processes of over one thousand projects, including web sites, computer games, 3D animation, television graphics, various forms of advertising (print, billboards, online, etc.), corporate identity, and various others.

In 2005, Philip began scripting and directing the episodic computer-animated series The Adventures of Hello Kitty and Friends in collaboration with veteran Los Angeles television producer Matthew Swanson. The series is produced in partnership with Sanrio Corporation for worldwide television markets.

In 2006, FIFA World Cup official sponsor adidas commissioned Philip to create The Impossible Team Online, a massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) with over 200,000 participants across China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, and a regular peak load of more than 35,000 players. Philip also supervised and directed the production of another title for adidas called Tunit, a Flash-based game played more than 1 million times.

Prior to Dream Cortex, from 1997 to 1998, Philip worked at Tom Lee Music, the Asian music store franchise with the widest range of offerings on the market. He successfully convinced the management there to invest in an on-line version of Tom Lee Music, and directed the set-up of the very first on-line music bookstore in Asia well before the Internet boom hit the region, thereby positioning the Tom Lee brand as a leader in the field.  Philip serves as Creative Industry Sector Specialist for the Hong Kong Council of Academic Accreditation (HKCAA), a role in which he advises the HKCAA on manpower, development, quality assurance, and other issues.

Philip graduated in 1996 with a degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
